Due to the recent emails and letters that BCMA and the Fellows have been sending out just in this past week, stating some of the following:
refusing anything to do with BCMA South and our logo, and our sponsors.
The Fellows have made it very clear that they will not be giving BCMA South the riders tax, even though BCMA South is going to be paying for the entire bill of year end trophies and prizing for this series.
Carla has been extremely sarcastic and rude to the Acheson's on email.
Cam Fellows has sent out a letter stating that the Acheson's are not allowed on the Pemberton track property, not allowing Travis to ride in a CMRC sanctioned race that he is entitled to collect series points for, and there is no just cause for this, just made up lies and stories being stated. Cam's reason for trying to do this is based on personal feelings not on facts. If statements like this are going to be made they should be based on facts.
Even though BCMA has yet to recognize the fact that BCMA South is no longer part of BCMA, which we are not and do not need BCMA's approval on, we are separate whether BCMA accepts it or not. Our separation has nothing to do with BCMA but with CMRC ONLY!!. BCMA South was still willing to let Pemberton be part of our series as we recognize the fact that they are in the southern part of the province. We were not happy about their double header and really not happy about the fact that they are not running the same classes as we are, however in-spite of all that we were still willing to accept their race as part of our series.
However this has all changed. BCMA South will not recognize riders points accumulated at Pemberton to go towards the BCMA South series. (they can be qualified as Northern and high point series points)
BCMA South would like to extend an apology to all our riders who unfortunately have been caught up in all the politics that has been going on. We have tried very hard to keep the rider out of it all and to be as professional as possible on our face book and our website. BCMA has had a hard time accepting that BCMA South does not want to be part of them for various reasons. This whole issue is very long and it probably does not need to be discussed with everyone. We have very seldom said much back in our defence but there is always two sides to the story. The one thing that does need to be made clear is that our sanctioning and our insurance does NOT come from BCMA. BCMA South promises to continue to give the best racing on the largest tracks and have plans for this years banquet to be larger and better then we have ever had.
We are sorry for this short notice but as previously stated BCMA South just received most of these emails within the last couple of days.
This is not an email stating to NOT go to Pemberton, please do go and ride and have fun, it is just clarifying that the points will not be towards the southern series points.
